Q & A
What is your approach to Guitar Tones?
Guitar tone is one of the hardest things to dial in — not because we lack the gear, but because you're trying to satisfy three very different demands: the player, the song, and the mix.
For me, it always starts with feel. If it responds the way I want, if it inspires something, that's my green light. The gear is secondary. The feel is everything.
Which engineers or guitarists inspired you?
Andy Sneap has always been one of those tone architects who never gets old for me. His precision and clarity never sacrifice aggression.
Colin Richardson is another master I deeply admire. His mixes have this high-octane energy that's both clean and crushing.
And then there's Mikko Karmila, the unsung hero of Finnvox Studios. His "balls over buzz" philosophy isn't easy to pull off, but Mikko nails it every time.
How did the idea for TRVE Rig come around?
The concept behind TRVE Rig has been living rent-free in my head for years. So many plugins are bloated with features that ultimately slow you down and kill your creative flow.
I built TRVE Rig as a one-click time machine — a curated collection of tones spanning from 1970 to 2005. No bloat. No filler. Just the tones I've wanted to hear and use for years.
Who should use TRVE Rig?
TRVE Rig is built for anyone who wants to cut through the noise and just play. No endless tweaking, no deep-dive menu surfing — just click, play, and go.
Whether you're tight on time or just tired of bloated interfaces, TRVE Rig offers a streamlined experience. It's for busy musicians, riff-writers, and producers who value feel over fiddling.

TRVE Rig isn’t designed to be an endless collection of amps and pedals. It’s a focused core built around tones that actually get used when writing. The goal is to remove decision fatigue, not add to it.
TRVE Rig starts with a deliberate, tightly selected core library, and expansions are coming. New tones will be added where they make musical sense—without turning the platform into a gear checklist.
