WHAT ARTISTS ARE SAYING

"I love Loudstakk MIDI. Ron D has a way of capturing the essence of Metal grooves - that elusive Metal feel and groove that just can't be replicated by hand programming MIDI. Loudstakk helps keep me inspired and creative and focused on the song itself."

"Loudstakk MIDI Grooves are great for inspiration and for jump starting ideas. The thing I find them most useful for though, is breaking out of old patterns by testing all kinds of different beats and rhythms against the same idea to find near infinite potential in every riff"

"Loudstakk MIDI Grooves provide the right amount of dynamics to make them sound more natural. Most other packs I've tried leave very small amount of dynamics. While on the road - I like to load these MIDI Grooves into my session knowing they will satisfy my taste when composing"

"I purchased my first Loudstakk MIDI Groove pack and immediately spent the next couple of days almost effortlessly writing nearly 30 minutes worth of music. It feels like writing with a real drummer… I guess because the grooves are all played by a real drummer! Highly recommended for my fellow songwriters, Loudstakk products are inspiring!"

Pessimist

"Loudstakk MIDI Grooves have been an essential part in my recent songwriting and pre-production for Fury of Five. Although being the drummer, sometimes I don't have time to set up all my recording gear to track a 45 second drum loop for a guitar riff and Loudstakk has been crucial in delivering the right kinds of drum parts for Fury's riffs."

Great dynamics and just has the right overall feel. Would recommend these to anyone who writes music in Metal/Rock/Punk."

What is your approach to Grindcore drumming?

"I've always approached Grindcore as a Punk genre first and a Metal genre second. There's absolutely Metal in its DNA, but the heartbeat comes from Hardcore Punk. It's supposed to feel reckless, uncomfortable, and just a little bit out of control.

That's what makes Grindcore exciting. The fills don't always land perfectly. Sometimes they crash and burn. The transitions can feel violent. You get these ridiculous bursts of speed, but the music isn't trying to impress you with BPM—it just explodes because that's what the song demands.

Bringing that into MIDI was the real challenge. It's easy to program something that's technically fast. It's much harder to make it feel like someone is barely hanging onto the song while somehow keeping it together. That's the side of Grindcore I wanted this pack to capture."

Which drummers inspired you?

"Mick Harris has to be the obvious starting point. Without him, Grindcore simply wouldn't sound the way it does today.

Pete Sandoval showed that extreme speed could still groove. His precision completely changed what aggressive drumming could be.

Kai Hahto has this incredible ability to balance relentless intensity with control. No matter how chaotic the music becomes, there's always purpose behind every hit.

Frank Faerman (Insect Warfare) is pure violence behind the kit. His playing feels dangerous in all the right ways, and that's a huge part of why Insect Warfare's records hit so hard.

Adam Jarvis is another drummer who understands that Grindcore isn't just about Blast Beats. His grooves have movement, dynamics, and a Punk attitude that keeps everything feeling alive."

How did the idea for a MIDI Groove Pack come around?

"Most Grindcore MIDI Packs lean heavily into one side of the genre: endless Blast Beats at impossible tempos. There's nothing wrong with that—Blast Beats are part of the language—but they're only one piece of the puzzle.

Grindcore didn't appear out of nowhere. It grew from Hardcore Punk just as much as Extreme Metal, and that Punk DNA often gets overlooked. Those frantic D-Beats, chaotic Hardcore grooves, sudden tempo shifts, and ugly transitions are just as important as the fastest Blast Beat.

I wanted this pack to capture the whole picture. The ridiculous speed is there when you need it, but so are the grooves that make those explosions actually mean something. It's written from the perspective of someone trying to write songs, not just fill every bar with as many notes as possible."

Who should use MIDI Groove Packs?

"This pack is built for songwriters who want their Grindcore to sound dangerous instead of robotic. If you're writing riffs that swing between Hardcore Punk aggression, Death Metal weight, and full-speed chaos, these grooves are built for you.

Whether you're demoing your next Powerviolence record, writing Grindcore in your bedroom, or putting together pre-production for your band, this pack helps you stay in the creative flow. You don't need to be a drummer. You don't need to spend hours programming believable performances. Just drag, drop, and start writing.

The grooves are played by a real drummer and built around the push and pull that gives Grindcore its personality. Fast when it needs to be. Loose when it should be. Aggressive without becoming mechanical. No endless copy-and-paste Blast Beats. No lifeless grids. Just human performances that keep the riffs moving.

If you believe Grindcore should sound like controlled collapse rather than computer-perfect precision, this pack is built for you."
